The Club of the Month this issue is the Muslim Student Association. They meet every first and third Wednesday of the month in Room 207 and everyone is welcomed, no matter your religion. The club’s purpose is to erase misconceptions and stigmas about Muslims. At meetings they discuss current events, issues, and doing community service.

To continue the recently revived bachelor/bachelorette of the month tradition, the Jagwire interviewed another Jaguar. This month’s bachelor is Thomas Olson (11). Thomas is a junior here at Falls Church, and has participated in track and cross country over his time here so far. Thomas is well known for his beastly pole vaulting and sprinting skills on the track team, in addition to his hardworking and dedicated attitude in the classroom.

This issue’s car of the month is Hannah Forcier’s 1994 Dodge Caravan. One of Hannah’s favorite attributes about the car is that it provides plenty of legroom and is really comfortable for passengers and the driver. Hannah’s brother had been driving the car years before Hannah’s time finally came at the end of her sophomore year to drive the Caravan and carry on the car’s legacy here at Falls Church.

“No-Shave November” started out in Australia 2004, when a group of 30 men organized it. The whole point of No-Shave November is to not grow mustaches or beards in the full 30 days in November. The reason why the men came up with this idea is because they wanted to start raising awareness for men with depression and prostate cancer. With this idea, the group of men made something that started out small, into something as big as it is now.
